NINETIES rap star Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly, one half of duo Kris Kross, has died at the age of 34.
It is alleged that the rapper had been taking a mix of cocaine and heroin on the day he died, last Wednesday.
Best known as Mac Daddy, Kelly was one half of the 1990s rap duo who made one of the decade's most memorable songs with Jump.
Kelly and partner Chris Smith, known as Daddy Mac, became well-known for the one of the best known songs of the nineties - Jump.
The hit was written by Jermaine Dupri and became a No 1 smash around the world.
Kriss Kross' success led to instant fame - they toured with Michael Jackson, appeared on TV shows, and even had their own video game.
The group was never able to match the tremendous success of their first song, though they had other hits like Warm It Up, and Tonite's tha Night.
