ABC may have lost Oprah Winfrey lately but has gained Katie Couric, who will be hosting her own daytime syndicated talk show.
It was announced today that Katie Couric, the former ?CBS Evening News? anchor is getting a talk show.
The show?s title wasn?t released yet but it will be an hour-long program that will debut on ABC in September of 2012.
ABC News President Ben Sherwood said in an email, ?A versatile journalist, interviewer and storyteller, Katie will contribute across all of our broadcasts and online, joining our powerhouse line-up of anchors and correspondents as the ultimate utility player.?
Couric made the announcement on April 26 that she was leaving ?The CBS Evening News? after almost five years.
