Victoria Beckham has given birth to a baby girl. The mother of four welcomed the bub on Sunday morning (10 July) with David by her side in LA and the couple are said to be ecstatic with their new arrival.

The proud parents who dismissed rumours that they were going to call their little girl Justine Bieber Beckham, after Romeo suggested the name, have kept the name a secret, until now. “I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham,” announced David. The Beckhams spilled that they chose Harper for a name because her brother's love the character, Harper, from the Disney television show The Wizards of Waverley Palace, and David and Victoria thought it was a lovely English name. Seven was David's old soccer jersey number which he had to give up when he joined Real Madrid.

“She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx.” Harper joins her brothers, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6, in the Beckham line-up.
